Michael first discovered Stoicism in a university seminar, and went on to earn with PhD in philosophy from Queen’s University, Kingston. He considers his study of Stoicism to have helped him become a happier, better person. He has been interested in training, practice, and self-improvement ever since he started training in martial arts when he was young. His favorite Stoic is Epictetus.
